INDUSTRIAL SCREENING
 Industrial sizing of materials is extensively used, and the types of equipment are many and varied.
 Screening is generally carried out on relatively coarse material, as the efficiency decreases rapidly with fineness.
 Fine screens are very fragile and expensive and tend to become blocked rather easily with retained particles.
 Screening is generally limited to material above about 250 μm in size
